Easter Sunday

When Bentley woke up on Sunday, she was excited to find that the easter bunny had stopped by to deliver her easter basket. He also hid plastic eggs around the front yard with coins in them! My favorite part of her basket, however, was a book entitled "the Easter Story" by Patricia Pingry. It is a great book for toddlers. We read that story with her to introduce the meaning of Easter and Christ's death & resurrection, and although the candy, eggs, and gifts are fun, they aren't what Easter is about.

When she and Ryan came home from church, she was so excited to tell me that she had said the closing prayer in primary. My little sunbeam is growing up!
